I absolutely loved this show as a child. I'm not sure what stirred my memories, but I suddenly recalled it, and started combing the internet for whatever information I could find.
I honestly was expecting to find it was available on DVD (it seems everything is these days, and 12 episodes certainly seems enough for a DVD to me), so I am disappointed that's not the case. I bet it would do quite well on DVD.
I see it originally aired in 1989, though I seem to remember watching it in repeats as late as 1994. I'm a stickler for TV trivia, so I have a few questions that maybe you can answer for me, Terry:
- are you aware what kind of ratings the show did?
- how many different years was the series repeated?
- did it air on any American networks? and any other Canadian network other than CBC?
thank you for giving me hours of entertainment as a child. It's funny how some things you don't forget, even nearly 20 years later!
