I started reading the first few pages before my son decided to play hide and seek wiht my book at the beach. The first few pages started out with a lady name Eleanor waiting for her husband to return from a battle. He had died from a wound when they brought him into the castle. As she was crying near him, she found he had a ribbon with the initial "C" for Corinne (not sure if that's the way the spelling was). Apparently, Corinne is her husband's mistress. Eleanor becomes angry and ask Corinne and her daughter to leave the castle. Didn't go much further than that. I think the plot is about a man who was suppose to marry one sister but falls in love with another sister (possibly Corinne's daughter). I think they were either Vikings or Celtics...not too sure. Any help would be great because I would love to finish what I barely began.
