I hope you can help me.
I'm looking for 3 books that I read in the . . . 90's? They were most likely Harlequin's, since I read 2 to 20 per week at that time (it's like eating potato chips--you can't stop!). I don't remember the titles or authors, but I'm hoping these descriptions will ring a bell for someone who's been around for a while.
1. A community of people, current times, in the mountains of . . . Kentucky? Tennessee? who were originally from Scotland. They had a special sort of magnetic stone at the heart of the community. They were doing wonderful things like recycling plastics, in the kitchen, into reusable plastic pellets; self-cooling pop-top cans; herbal healing tonics.
2. A man?woman? who had a toy? company with a terrific brain tank group of people having fun with their jobs, toy robots running around in the hallways, etc. The story was filled with sunshine/love what you're doing/be passionately childlike.
3. A young woman who had a retreat/garden/nursery? named maybe Strawberry something? something to do with fairies or settings for the little people; story teller with children?
I know this isn't a lot to go on, but I loved those stories especially--they've stuck with me all these years. I used to have the books, but lost them (with the rest of my library) when our home burned during the 2003 CA Wildfires in San Diego. I'd like to rebuy the books if I can find copies.
