To the rest of us:
I have solved our side of it, on the phone to Roy.
Here is the info:
Roy "The Butcher" Gander had three brothers, Arthur, Charlie and Lionel.So we had 5 Ganders in the Regiment altogether.
Arthur and Charlie were National service and have sadly passed already.
Lionel was a regular and also MT.He is well.
Dave "Goose" Gander is no relation
Lionel was also called "Goose" before him.
Roy Gander is well, he was the Bn. Butcher.
So now we`ve got `em all!
We can now pay our respects on Fallen Friends to the Royal Sussex lads, Arthur & Charlie Gander, as is our custom.
