A biker was riding along a beach in Blackpool when suddenly the skies clouded above his head and in a booming voice the Lord said, “Because you have tried to be faithful to me in all ways, I will grant you one wish”
The biker thought and replied, “I would like a bridge from here to the Isle of Man so I can get to the TT races easier!”
The Lord said, “Your request is too materialistic, think of the enormous challenges for that kind of undertaking, the supports required to reach the bottom of the Irish Sea, the concrete and steel required, it would be a drain on resources!”
“I can do it but it would be hard for me to justify your desire for something to make your life easier!”
”Take a little more time and think of something that would honour and glorify me.”
The biker thought for a long time and finally asked, “Lord I wish I could understand my wife, I want to know how she feels inside, what she thinks when she gives me the silent treatment, why she cries, what she means when she says nothing is wrong and how can I make her truly happy!”
"I could pass on this knowlege and it would be a help for all of mankind to understand women."
The lord replied, “Do you want two or four lanes on your bridge?”
