Attended Peter and Vi's 50th this evening in Canterbury. About 80 were there, and great to see some of our old mates. TT was there, and also Bob Bumstead, Vince Dunn and Sean (paddy) Furey (who I have not seen since Ballykinlar. The evening went splendidly, and Pete and Vi were not aware of the event laid on for them. They entered the hall to ringing cheers, and the disco playing their favourite tune. Thank you Les for phoning Peter just prior to him and Vi coming to the hall.
Brilliant food, entertainment and bar. And, all praise to John Forrester (son in law) for making it a quite special day for the pair of them.
