SGT RANSOME

On Sunday evening at our festival of remembrance at Hastings the deputy mayor of Bexhillsaid she is trying to find out about her great uncle, sgt Ransome who was in the 11th service battalion and was awarded the CROIX DE GURRE and she wondered if any one could shed any light on the reason for him getting it.
I have no doubt some one can help
